The sweep will have to wait until Thursday.

Hey, act your age, not your shoe size. You've got win Game Three to sweep a four-game set, so you're not wrong.

This is a mandolin, a smaller stringed instrument with eight strings tuned in pairs, in a G-D-A-E tuning. I also play the dulcimer and I have just recently ordered a bouzouki (it's in transit).

I stopped ordering from there when they started charging

That's a funky lineup.

Notable that it's the third straight day the Nats are serving up a dish of lefthanded starter.

IGTT: in-game thread trivia

13 years ago tonight the Mets beat the MFYs on a 9th inning game-tying hit and a 10th inning walkoff rbi hit.

Name those hitters

Emil Brown.

Meanwhile, I want to be Ben Gamel's fantasy, and maybe he can be mine.

Hint? The guy who tied the game in the 9th was the first to blow a Marino save since Matt Franco.
