Usually I try to wait and watch after dinner via DVR but the way they've played the last 3 games I feel like I should get this viewing experience over with in real time.

It's been some pretty terrible baseball. Granted they've faced three pretty good pitchers, but as Keith said, the lack of in game adjustment is infuriating. On both sides of the ball. Two days in a row, the lineup has been flailing at pitches low and out of the zone.

For a while I thought they did a good job of letting the ball get deep and picking up the breaking stuff that drops out of the zone. Lately they're back to trying to pull and swinging over everything.

Snell, even when he's good, doesn't go deep into games. Here's to hoping he sucks and the bullpen sucks even more. You gotta think their closer is not available today.

Weekday afternoon games from San Francisco remind me of those pre-Mets days when I would come home from school and listen to Les Keiter recreate the games on NY radio.

"Here comes Willie! Here comes the ball! He slides --- he BEAT the ball, he BEAT the ball!"

All off the ticker with his own crowd noise track and emotion.

It appears so far that, despite Los Gigantes switching from a lefthanded starter to a righty, the Met are sticking with the righthanded Taylor, Bader, and Nido in their lineup.

Right, like many I use MLB Starting Lineups Today and so far they

haven't put up a revised lineup...

When I hear "Manaea" I still think "Minaya".

And Keith tells us that Tyler Fitzgerald of the Giants is the son of his former Mets teammate Mike Fitzgerald.

Neither one of them can hit

Nice to hear Keith today

I went to the Mets site and saw that Lindor was up with one guy on.

I clicked to open the MLB.tv feed and saw (1) Alonso up, (2) Lindor in the dugout focusing on whatever was next and (3) the bases empty.

I was certain Francisco hit into a double-play. And then the score told me ... otherwise.
