In case anyone else besides me is interested, the NL leads AL 332-303 in Interleague Play this year, with only an 18 run deferential. (2890 runs to 2872)

Let's show a team leading an AL division by 16 games how tough the NL really is.

LGM!

Yeah, I thought 16 sounded a little lofty but didn't fact check.

Here at Target Field. A very lovely park.

An usher is giving out Mets/Twins baseball cards. I got Teufel.

There are many sheriff officers roaming the grounds with assault rifles. I thought for a second that was just how Minny police roll. A better guess is that Chris Christie is in the park tonight.

It looks like they have Orioles batting helmets.

When did the Twins add orange to their palette? I guess their blood red just comes out differently when rendered in helmet plastic.

48 pitches thru 2 IP for Senga

Not getting very deep at that pace.

Looked as if he'd be drained long before the 6th inning but Kodai was able to stop the exSengaunation.

Target Field is a really nice park. They do a great job of honoring ex-players and not just the ones in the HOF or with retired numbers. I love that the stadium is located right downtown. The food was decent and it was easy to get around the place.

My expectations for the game were low and the Mets didn't disappoint. It was great to see the youngsters play, but some of them look absolutely lost at the plate. It seemed like Senga bounced the majority of his forkballs. The walks killed us and throwing the ball around the field defensively looks like the Bad News Bears. That said, the Locastro diving catch was amazing.
