I can see the COMC cards in this post, the ones with checkoutmycards in

the URL show up with a just a little image icon. You can probably see them

because they're in your browser cache.

So you can see some of the COMC cards, but not all of them? Is anyone else experiencing this? And did you have this issue with the Royals and/or Orioles cards?

I can see roughly half of them. The others just have a small caricature of a card/page followed by the word image.

I think it depends on the browser. On my desktop, Firefox was displaying some broken images, because it is set to not display imbedded media from an outside website. These images all display fine on my phone.

I think I know what's happening. When I used to make these threads regularly, like all season long, years ago, at the end I started saving the whole sequence of URLs that I was posting. This way, I'd save a lot of time if I ever wanted to re-post those threads. I haven't posted a Cubs card thread in many years. So for this thread, I retrieved my old Cubs thread from my saved folders and re-posted it, but adding new links for the more recent Cubs/Mets who couldn't have appeared in the older thread. COMC changed its link formats over the past few years so the new cards are probably the ones showing up, but not the older cards from the older thread. I also have some cards hosted on Flickr -- cards that I couldn't get on COMC, either because they were unavailable, or because they were custom cards. Those flickr hosted cards are also showing up.

But I could see all the cards on my computer. Also, I could see all the cards on my cellphone --- I don't know how since I have a brand new cellphone that I've only had for about a month or so. How would I be able to see the old links on my new smartphone?

And what about the Royals or Orioles threads? Same deal there with old links from saved folders.

Yeah, I was just about to say it's a Chrome thing on this laptop

because they all load properly in Firefox.
