And since I know you all are on the edge of your seats awaiting the actual stats on this ... the Braves have scored

- 3 runs in the 1st inning four times this season

- 4 runs eight times

- five runs three times (including tonight)

- six runs once

- seven runs once



So in those 17 games alone ATL has more than twice the number of 1st inning runs (72) than the Mets do in all 90+ of their games.(31)

Braves now have 100 1st inning runs in 2023
