Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 Mets are letting a lot of guys with good names get away, like Izack Tiger and Teddy Sharkey
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 (edited) #285 Nick Lorusso - 3B U of Maryland. The last Maryland draftee picked by the Mets who stands out in my mind was Jay Payton.Go Terps!and he's also from Monroe, CT, practically a homie.from SNY:Lorusso was one of the most productive hitters in college baseball this season. He hit .379 with a .446 OBP, 1.211 OPS, 26 home runs, and was tied for the NCAA-lead with 105 RBI.The Monroe, CT native has the potential to be a quick riser through the minors. I also have no idea where Law is at these days but i don't think it's mlb so I doubt it's his stuff.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 Terrapin Mets include ... nobody? Reliever Adam Kalorak had a decent career after the Mets released him as a minor-leaguer.Recent alum Hunter Parsons is currently bouncing between AA and AAA. There's a good chance he takes the hill as a Met.
