Lorusso was one of the most productive hitters in college baseball this season. He hit .379 with a .446 OBP, 1.211 OPS, 26 home runs, and was tied for the NCAA-lead with 105 RBI. The Monroe, CT native has the potential to be a quick riser through the minors.

I got those reports off of mlb.com, so not pay-walled and not attributed to anyone in particular. I also have no idea where Law is at these days but i don't think it's mlb so I doubt it's his stuff.

Recent alum Hunter Parsons is currently bouncing between AA and AAA. There's a good chance he takes the hill as a Met.

The #8 draftee, Boston Baro, a shortstop - "Power isn't a big part of his game right now, but possible he can grow into average power."

That reminded of the Baseball Digest scouting report on Bud Harrelson. It said "Good power for a shortstop".

The Mets have signed first pick Colin Houck.

The Mets have also officially signed the following picks: RHP Austin Troesser ($128,200 underlsot), sixth rounder RHP Jack Wenninger ($74,800 underslot), seventh rounder Noah Hall ($58,750 underslot), ninth rounder 3B Nick Lorusso ($125,100 underslot), and 10th rounder C Christian Pregent ($115,800 underslot). The Mets have also signed undrafted free agent RHP Dakota Hawkins to a six-figure signing bonus. The biggest bonus given by the Mets prior to Houck signing was for eighth round prep shortstop Boston Baro that got $700,000. Baro's pick had a slot value of $192,900. Houck instantly becomes one of the Mets' top five prospects in their farm system.
