Good guy, good pitcher but I guess that he wanted a real chance to start rather than being a swingman. Or maybe the pressure of playing in front of intelligent fans was too much as that won't be a problem in Washington. Or it was the pressure of winning because, again, that won't be a problem in Washington.

Elieser Hernandez might be the long-RP/spot-starter in '23.

He seemed to pull the Mets' chestnuts out of the fire on many an occasion over the last two years. Underrated but important to have that swingman/long man/spot starter guy. I suspect that ultimately Magill or Peterson will end up in that role, or Joey Lucchesi perhaps, or someone not yet on the roster?

Good guy, often forgot he was on the team, did his job though when called upon...maybe he will get to start

I thought at first he was like the Costco brand version of Robert Gsellman, but he was better than Gselly, I think. Had a mesmerizing tattoo of a raven or something that stretched the length of his forearm. @metirish, we need to properly ID that bird.

It took seven minutes for irish to come back with that answer.

Damn, we've missed you.

Yes to both.

Williams did what was asked of him and became a valuable member of the pitching staff.

He was far better and more valuable than I ever anticipated he would be last year. Seemed like a good guy. Willing to do whatever he could to help the team. I wish him well.
