Until G & K started talking about it, I hadn't thought of this game as a clincher the entire night even though I was aware all along that it could be.

Club level seats (right above the TV booths). It's by far my favorite seats in MIL.

You'll never get on TV that way!!

=TransMonk post_id=108008 time=1663647863 user_id=71] I did walk down to the concourse near the 3rd baseline for the bottom of the ninth.

There were mostly Mets fans down there and I wanted to be closer to them as opposed to staying in my nearly empty section.

A year or three ago. I guess Miller opted not to re-up after their initial time period ran out. Either that or maybe AFF just out-bid them.

Tough to miss the new sponsor as there are three signs, separate but almost on top of each other, behind home plate so as to be seen from the CF camera.

That scrum of fans got some SNY screen time during the on-field Francisco/Pete/Nimmo interviews.

Can't say that I saw you but maybe some Zapruder-like film examination will turn up new evidence.

I didn't realize they were going to be on the field after the game. I left after the final out and hugs on the infield. :(

Citi Field is subtly sponsored by an insurer, as the arch over the Citigroup logo is a latter-day representation of the umbrella from the traditional Travelers Insurance logo, Travelers now being a member of the Citigroup family of stuff.

Not as obvious a stadium full o' Flo, but ... we're being sold insurance!

It seems like insurance is the new big sector in ballpark naming sponsors.

Forget just ballparks, insurers seem to be a big part of ALL advertising. Seems you can't swing a negligently injured cat with hitting commercials for Geico, State Farm, Progressive, Liberty Mutual, or Allstate, and many of those have multiple campaigns going simultaneously.

Anyputts, I was a little disappointed that in all the post-game interviews, including at least two with Lindor and at least one with Diaz, nobody brought up Puerto Rico, very much under water and in the dark.
