Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2022 Author Posted August 25, 2022 I was envisioning a Vogelbach hard single to RF ... and then getting thrown out at 1st.Well it didn't happen but the net result is the same.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Hmmm. Diaz looking vulnerable.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Well, not a clean inning, but a return to something like his form after the last outing.I'll take it.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 When I saw Diaz coming in for the 8th it felt like a panic driven move from the lack of faith in our bullpen - unlike against Atlanta where it felt worth it. That he did NOT return for the 9th restored my faith in Buck - he was using Diaz to get the heart of the order, to hell with what inning it was
