nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 How is Dom Smith still a Met? between Vogelbauch and Ruf (and even Naquin) where is the role for him outside of Syracuse?

If it doesn't get the Mets deep into the post-season, it's a bad move, but if Ruf gets hot and wins us a few games we otherwise would have lost and we end up playing in early November, no one remembers or cares.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Darin Ruf is basically JD Davis if JD Davis was better at being JD Davis. He's also forever in my brain the guy that just forgot to finish spelling his own dumb names.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 One-number trades can be some serious shit.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 How did we not name this thread "Ruf Trade"?
