Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 This probably isn't the same stuff that postponed the game yesterday but man it's raining hard here right now.I can't remember the last time it rained
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 It's only the top of the 7th, but it's starting to feel like it's gonna be onethose confounded ghost runner games.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Scwindel fighting not to be displaced by Dom Smith in a between games trade for Contreras
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 This is the inning in which the Mets score runs. Leadoff hit and top of lineup coming up? Let's go.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Canha as a PR is a curious choice. Why not David Peterson or Trevor Williams? Using good athlete pitchers as PRs is an overlooked inefficiency.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Really thought Zimmo put the wax on Wick.Big moment here for Petey, and the Mets
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Smith threw 11 pitches and the wind is blowing in. I'd have kept him in for the 9th.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 You never know what you're gonna get with Ottavino
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Amazing pick by JD. On to the eleventh.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 JD Davis and Adam Ottavino, professionals.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 That was a vicious pick by jdd. Also, Pete with another big RBI
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Not a bad attempt by Lindor. Sometimes, the other guys execute.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Let's all say a prayer that morels success stealing 3rd, doesn't matter
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 I did not breathe during extra innings. Good win, Metsies.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 So has a Met who was inserted as a pinch-runner for an injured automatic runner ever garnered any Schaefer points despite not actually doing anything as the runner nor subsequently coming to the plate?I'm guessing not, but JDD might break that oh-fer
