I like the hit/strike-out/reach base probability percentages that Apple TV puts in the corner. It's kind of fun and not obtrusive. It doesn't seem like there's any rhyme or reason as to why they pick one outcome or the other, though. And I'm assuming the 37% hit probability Pete had when it was 2-1 was based on his particular success in those counts, but they've not mentioned it, so I don't know if it's that, or league average, or what.



One of the Nats guys was coming up and they listed his walk-up song and tied it in with Apple Music and Shazam. If you're gonna give us an ad for an apple product, they should do that for every batter.

I have to say that I like these announcers better than your typical ESPN or Fox Sports crews. No know-it-all nerds, no dumb jocks, just some people who seem to enjoy watching baseball.

This one was the first questionable send of the four so far.

And even then you could make the case that it was two outs.
