It was a damn good game with GKR, too. Keith sometimes gets a little aphasia-stuck on a word here and there, but Ron and Gary seem afraid to help him out, perhaps partially out of respect and partially out of not wanting to interrupt his thoughts.

=bmfc1 post_id=87459 time=1647861872 user_id=73]the Marlins have radio broadcasts of every spring game.

We're in the bottom of the fifth of a game against the Marlins. Max Scherzer has gone the distance (!!) so far, giving up one run on three hits, but that's enough for Miami to lead 1-0.

Jacob deGrom is, I presume, nodding knowingly in the visitor's dugout somewhere.

Showalter clearly has no clue how to get the most out of this team.

Now that you mention it, it sure would be nice to see him walk off with a smile after the first.

Pitchers look good. I'd be happy to see some more hitting. Not much tonight besides a flub RBI for Lindor and a less than impressive sac fly by McNeil.

You play fifteen games, and what do you get?

Hayden Senger catching and he's barely a threat

Is Marte in the lineup? Well the answer is NO!

But Sean Reid-Foley is a-rarin' to throw!

Don't the Mets have enough left handed hitters? Why is JD Davis hitting that way?

Two really impressive plays to watch in third inning. On the first one, Jeff McNeil fields a bouncer on the shortstop side of second, he briefly thinks of tossing it behind his back to Lindor, but the angle is bad and Chisholm is bearing down on second, so he instead rears back and throws it to first, uncharacteristically strong.

The next batter drove the ball to the wall in center, and also uncharacteristically, Brandon Nimmo went back full-bore and caught up with the ball jumping into the fence a la Juan Lagares.
