Please tell me that baseball is not going to take the NFL path where they judge catch vs no-catch based on whether the ball is 'jiggling in his hands'.

I was just about to post how I didn't like how this (8th) inning was set up [fast runner as the phantom runner, top of the order] and Sierra gets picked off before the first pitch was thrown.
