Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Man, Mazeika shaved!
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 (edited) Villar needs to be in the lineup and bat first... gets caught stealing, can't beat out a grounder in the hole.Alonso and Baez did their parts to make another minor leaguer build up his resume for 2022. Boo the crap out them. Edited August 28, 2021 by Guest

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Stroman threw 91 pitches and this is a must-game (I guess). He should have started the inning.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Luis decides, the Mets fall behind.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Stroman deserves better. He (and most Mets pitchers) could sue the Mets offense for lack of support.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Remember when the Mets played SF on August 18 and Luis had Maz bunt to lead off the top of the 10th and Maz made an out erasing the runner on 2d? I do but Luis forgot. That was 10 days ago. I'm starting to think that Luis is being paid by other teams to hurt the Mets (despite the Conforto HR).
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Wow. I had utterly gotten over the notion of Conforto as a guy who could win a game with his bat. This not particularly fair, but I would have had more faith in Jason Bay or Michael Cuddyer coming into tonight.
