G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Let's win this last one before we are essentially rained out for four consecutive days. Chase De Jong starts for the Pirates. Luis Rojas has no corresponding answer as of Saturday night, but discourages Jake talk for Sunday.

kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 The infamous Teebeedee is still listed on Mets Gameday page (- - -, -.--).Don't they know that there are IGTr's out here with OCD issues?

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2021 Author Posted July 11, 2021 Loup gets to fulfill his dream.”Who wouldn't want to be the guy to start the game and then get to sit in the clubhouse and drink a few brews on the back end and watch the rest of it?” Loup said Thursday on a Zoom call from Port St. Lucie, Fla.https://nypost.com/2021/02/18/mets-aaron-loup-wants-to-try-being-opener-drink-a-few-brews/https://nypost.com/2021/02/18/mets-aaron-loup-wants-to-try-being-opener-drink-a-few-brews/

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 A double and a homer to open the game. That's the way it's done.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Good God. Three-run homer by Conforto.Cancel the All-Star Break. Mets bats have arrived.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Even Conforto can hit this palooka

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 For the Syracuse Mets today, the 1st 6 hitters, plus 3 of the bench players, plus the starting pitcher, have played for the Mets this season:https://www.milb.com/gameday/mets-vs-railriders/2021/07/11/646626#game_state=live,game_tab=,game=646626https://www.milb.com/gameday/mets-vs-railriders/2021/07/11/646626#game_state=live,game_tab=,game=646626
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Jeurys in a good position to grab a second victory in a row.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 What the fastest time period for a Mets player being DFA'd twice?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 How about deJong still in this game in the fifth after the way his day started?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 That hit by Lindor puts his OPS over .700.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Mets lead down to 5-4 after a second Castro homer. Also, Nimmo would have caught the previous homer if the stupid rail wasn't there. Move back the rail.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 (edited) I'm not thrilled to see either Castro today.May and Lugo can't pitch a 2d day in a row with 4 days off ahead? Instead, he let Castro pitch a 2d inning when it's almost a miracle that he pitched one scoreless inning. Edited July 11, 2021 by Guest
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Diaz coming in with one out and the tying run on third.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Ugh. Pirates just seem to want it more than the Mets today.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 So unfair that it's a nine inning game. If it were a seven inning game, it would have already ended and the Mets would've won.The seven inning rule seems to be unfair only when the Mets lose a seven inning game, but not when they win a seven inning game.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Perez, 25 other Pirates and millions of fans just got screwed on that strike three call.
dinosaur jesus Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 I'd rather not win that way, but what can you do.
