The double dip commences with Taijuan Walker facing Aaron Nola at 4:10 PM. Three dips if you count Joe Girardi.

At least it's a single-admission doubleheader unless the practice in Washington where they split the games and get two admissions for the same price as a traditional 9-inning game.

Whenever there's a player that I don't recognize on the opposing team, I figure that he will hurt the Mets. And there are 3 players in that lineup that I don't know.

Attending my nephew's HS graduation tonight at 6 PM, but this does entail a one hour drive to and from the ceremonies. Good to know there will be Mets baseball for both of those rides.

Jankowski is a speedy OF who was with SDP for a while and went to Stonybrook so Seawolf has talked him up despite his poor education.

What was the name of the Marlins pitcher from Stony Brook? Every time he faced the Mets this forum was flooded with comments about how stupid he was.

It helped the mocking that Koehler was a division opponent (Miami) for much of the time so he wound up facing the Mets more often (22) than any other team during the course of his 8 year career.

Nice top 1st for Walker

The at-bat by Walker contained some comical calls too.

The last pitch was right down the middle and it took a moment for the ump to call it a strike ... and there was doubt in that moment.

And Nola sets a club record by fanning eight straight Mets.

Gary to Ronnie at the next commercial break: "Did you go home with her?"

Ronnie: "How can I remember? There were so many!"
