The Mets go for two in a row against the Atlanta Braves. Game time is 7:20 so that gives SNY an extra 10 minutes to fill. The Mets will send Miguel Castro (RHP) against Tucker Davidson (LHP). Davidson is making his first start of the season.

Well, Nido got three hits yesterday, but I was keeping an eye on him and his throwing hand seemed to be swelling a little.

In tonight's lineup (above), there are only 2 players who were in the Opening Day lineup (remember that Pillar started over Dom);

If you had Nido batting 5th on any date after March, you won! He had three hits last night which feel like the number that McCann has had all season.

Relief pitchers are the Mets' secret offensive weapon.

Johneshwy Fargas seemed to hit one as far as he could and the leftfielder didn't have to move.

He didn't move on Villar's ball either.

Truist Park organist played "Come and Go with Me" for Dominic Smith, and I thought, "Huh?"

And then I thought, "Dom-Dom-Dom-Dom-Dom ... ."

So, May is up this inning so he's gone.

I figure the Mets are going to try to get three outs from Diaz, three from Loup, and three from ... Smith? Barnes? Jeurys?
