To this point, pitching against each other, Corbin Burnes and Jose Berrios have combined to pitch 11 hitless innings, with 21 strikeouts. That's got to be at least as rare as a no-hitter. But in a few innings it's almost certainly going to be just another game.

Berrios was pulled after six, still with a no-hitter. There was a time when that would have been unthinkable.

When Koufax pitched one of his no-hitters, the opposing pitcher (Bob Hendley) gave up just one hit.

If true, then ATL reaps the benefit of WSH's catching and failure to contain the virus while the Mets get doubleheaders and/or lost off-days, 4 days to sit in a hotel, only play an intrasquad game, and lose any momentum from ST. Brilliant plan MLB and as always, F the F'in Nationals.

I'm wary of the Braves more so than the Phils, so a 3-0 sweep this way is better than the reverse in my mind.

Braves scored 3 runs in three games: a 2R HR by Panda on Thursday and a Solo by d'Arnaud today.

So there you go, MLB teams. If you're up against the wall and you've got a red-hot All-Star pitcher going against you, report a couple of Covid-19 cases and you can dodge the game.

in addition to becoming the first starting pitcher since 1903 to bat second, Shohei Ohtani topped 100 mph and hit a 451-foot homer in the same game.

That's almost as good as Kingman.
