its a short season this year, there is really no reason for the best players not to play 58+ games with the DH available.

He left as a free agent for San Diego. It didn't work out and he returned on the 2020 equivalent of a minor league contract.

I like Peterson's slider. It's not the nastiest thing, but he finds the plate with it.



It'll be interesting to see if he can get lefties to chase it. It probably isn't hard enough to look like a fastball.

I feel like Gelbs should be giving up the analysis duty today and should be working the Céspedes story. Hopefully Eamon McAnaney and Maria Marino are on the case.

Tough to find a more incompetent stretch of RiSP hitting in like ... oh maybe the history of the planet.

Every inning there are multiple runners on and we've yet to not only get a runner in but yet to get a ball out of the infield.



We're up to something like 1 of the last 17 w/RiSP and even that one hit didn't knock in a run. Someone would have to do some digging to find the actual last hit to score a run.





And now here are the braves getting runs in with weak grounders and walks.
