Ali Sanchez has been optioned to the Alternate Site, or as they called it at Shawshank, The Hole. This trims the active roster to 28, as mandated by whatever the rule is this afternoon.

Well, since he hasn't appeared in a game, I guess they won't miss him all that much.



I had to look him up... He's a catcher. I think Rivera is on the IL, so we have two catchers remaining, Ramos and Nido?

Prior to his outing the other day, his previous appearance was one year ago Today.

If it's a one or two inning 'bullpen start' then it hardly matters whether he starts or relieves or even and who starts and who relieves.

We did this in 2017 --the variations-- and our test marketing -- and sales -- indicated that it was a big hit.

Patrick Mazeika is optioned, meaning Ali Sanchez's reward for allowing Jon Berti the final segment of his trip around the bases is promotion from 29th man on a 28-man roster to 28th man.

Like the Classic logo touch on Garrett. Fully expecting 80s Mets getting the thicker New Coke font.



What I meant by style differences earlier was city names or team names in differing font. I assume they are authentic to the style but not certain
