Well it turns out I had a lot of dogshit on my roster. I kept most of my higher end guys and I have $154 to spend on filling 26 spots. I predict a lot of $2 flyers in my future.

the keep/drop decision is always the hardest on those high-priced guys who actually perform, when you also desperately need to shed payroll.

I'm more concerned about the fact that I have just 3 pitchers currently on my roster. All the rest of them were too terrible to keep even at bargain basement pricing.



So, another question - is there any kind of 'setting lineups' in this league? Is that a daily or weekly event? Or does everyone on my roster contribute to the team stats every day?

lineups are daily and only the active guys contribute points. And you've got 40 spots(well, many of us have some minor league prospects) so there's plenty of swapping you can do based on matchups, etc. (I'm lazy and often don't)



You've got a limited amount of innings/games anyway though, so if you constantly swapped you'd blow it out. Pitching can be tight. Otto Classic points is a mix of counting stats (like strikeouts) and rate stats like ERA and HR9 so it's a tradeoff.

Reds fan here. If you are still looking for someone to claim Valley Vermin's team, I am interested. This is my first year in Ottoneu and I have yet to play in a classic 4x4 league. I would be a respectful, active owner. I see the password below, but thought I should ask before claiming the team. If you want to keep it all Mets, I understand that.
