Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 He's already generated early support for the Dark Horse Met, but can he take it to Super Tuesday? What's in store for the slim right-hander who pitched his way off one contender... And onto another in 2019?
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Eats about 50 innings in non-crucial situations.Later
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2020 Author Posted February 25, 2020 Here's something I didn't know and/or had forgotten: Brad Brach was an all-star in 2016. It was one of those obligations from a shitty Baltimore club, but he was very good that year and really, better than average most years. Decent K's, maybe a few too many walks, good homer-preventer.Depending on how Rojas ultimately deploys them--I suspect they will join the "bullpen game" trend-- he and Wilson could be a kind of Turk-Cook for this club.So... 3-3, 3.77, 50 innings
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 I think he's going to be bad. I hope I'm wrong, but the guy couldn't get lefties at all last year, and the three-batter rule doesn't help.
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 feigns injury so he doesn't have to face Juan Soto in the middle innings of the home opener. As he walks off the mound, he trips and tears his achilles. out for the year.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Reliable one-inningish staple in 2020.

Maybe he's still got something in the tank.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 He's probably 5th or 6th on the bullpen depth chart, so he'll probably be so-so in limited work. 2-2, 4.00, one extra-inning save.
