I didn't realize that Yaz's son (and Mike's father) had passed away from a heart attack. Reading that story and watching this did not make me cry at all.

But ultimately, Mike Yazstrzemski Jr. turned his father's story from a tragic one to a triumphant one. If a guy was given the choice of making it to the big leagues, or having his son make it to the big leagues, I don't know many that would pick the first.



I'm sure Mike Sr. felt the same way.
