Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 How damaged am I that the first thing I thought was, "Now watch us give the lead right back!"
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Cooby, don't look.There may still be a different ending to your movie.Later

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Hit & Run with Ramos is a play I've been waiting for all season.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Kicking Neris while he's down, I like it. Rosey needs to drive in the run here
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Let's bring Mazza in for the save
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 well, that came out of nowhere!whats the plan for blowing this lead?

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Here we go. Diaz walks the leadoff guy ahead of Franco
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 unfuckingreal. Bring in Mazza!

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 My thought is, if we had Cesar Hernandez and the Phillies had Cano, we'd be in second place and they'd be in 4th.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 This is like a Jerry Manuel Era bullpen epidemic
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 I go for a shower and Diaz blew it again
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 We did it! We blew a lead in every game in this series!!
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 He won't get canned with this weekend coming will he? Does he make it to Yankees series? And WTF are we going to do about Diaz? What an absolute disaster of a trade, and of a series. The Phillies on Monday were deader than we are right now, and we let them beat us four streat.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Psst, Cooby.The movie is still on.Later
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 I mean, if you're into teams shitting all over themselves the Mets are incredible. Five straight!!I think they have to demote Diaz from the closer role or maybe they DL him to preserve his feelings. We'd have been better off had we just left Gselly in the role as he was more or less fine upon assuming the role last year, iirc.
