NYM (37‑43) Jason Vargas (LHP, 3-3, 3.75)

PHI (41‑38) Nick Pivetta (RHP, 4-2, 5.54)

4 1/2 out of the wild card with only like 7-8 teams to jump over!

Piece of cake...

No, they're not.

If they drift towards 10 under or so players will be changing uniforms and such

If we get back to par less so. It is not to late to get hot and make a run but I do believe it has to start asap

imho

RHP Chris Mazza joins the club from Syracuse. Will wear No. 74 for some ridiculous reason. When he makes his MLB debut, he'll be the 400th to be Born A Met.

Lockett sent down. O'Rourke DFA'd.

Next win is franchise regular season win No. 4,400.

The Mets might have made two outs on the bases this inning if Segura could catch the throws and get the tag down.

Was just about to add that muffed tag plays at 2B have been our biggest offensive weapon tonight.

Two throws on SB attempts and then that one from Harper in RF were all on time but all bungled at 2B

So: three run lead, three innings to go ... I'd say we've got at least a 10%, maybe even 12%, shot at winning this one.
