batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2019 Author Posted May 22, 2019 No McNeil. No Conforto. And no Nimmo, who's not so hot this year anyways. Still, with deGrom pitching, the Mets'll probably score negative five runs tonight with that lineup facing Scherzer. . It'll be negative six runs until Alonso crushes a solo homer to make it negative five.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Ugh. A gift courtesy of the error and they waste the opportunity. I hope that we don't look back at this when the game is over.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Down goes Cano. This is quite the Spring Training lineup in May.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 That's why Cano doesn't run hard, he's afraid he'll tweak something...
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Scherzer doesn't need any help for most hitters but especially for Lagares yet he gets a call.I don't even know if Nido is a AAA hitter. What a waste. BVW did a great job with the catchers. The only way they were going to score that inning is if Frazier hit it a few feet further.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 I missed what happened to Cano. What happened to Cano?
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 I was only half watching, something bugging him in the leg running to first.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 He's like that college with the small urban campus. He has a tight quad.deGrom may have to hit his way into the lead. Or maybe one of the other pitchers.
