Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 This is only the second time I recall seeing Syndergaard flying the man-bun.I should keep track of his record by hairstyle.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Seven innings in < 6 innings worth (87) of pitches for Noah including retiring the last 13 batters in a row.Obviously you bring him back for the 8th and then play things out from there.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 That walk-fest was delightfully appalling'Nice hitting by Conforto to make it 8-1. Noah should sit down for good now.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 I think long innings have cooled Noah off a bit.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Well, he shoulda sat down.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Just hope those bullpen yips aren't contagious.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 I nodded off, should have stayed asleep...
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Looks like he lifted off before the catch, but then brushed it on the pivot.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Two things are apparent in NYM games so far this season- that whether the Mets are ahead by a lot or behind by a lot in late innings, the game is never really put away until the last out- no matter how the game is progressing, it's not going to end quickly. Only one game has been under 3 hours so far (opening day) and most haven't been close including last night which was 4:08 and the longest game in the majors this yearMore NYM games over 3:50 so far this season (3) than under 3:10 (2)
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 I think I've figured out all these comebacks.Team gets a big lead, relaxes a little, puts some subs in, makes the pitcher sit during a rally ... all of a sudden everybody's cold.Team that's behind is staying out on the field, jumping around. They're warm. In the late innings, they start chipping away, and whoever comes in for the trailing team on the mound is that much colder. It's a thermal thing.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Check out the guy in the front row busting a mack with the unaccompanied lady with a kid behind him.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Now he's moved back to sit next to her.Either they were together the whole time or he's a fast worker.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 They still there? Or did they go home together?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Now another dude has the baby, and the two of them are gone.#intrigue
