I didn't do so hot. I got traded for Johan. I didn't do so hot.I got traded again I and I got HOT! Smoking hot. For a few years, I was a star. On offense. On defense. On the bases. But that was then. I haven't really had more than a decent season since 2014.Now — OH THE SHAME! — I'm back with the Mets on a minor league dealio. Me and Blanco and Davis all looking at each other wondering what happened. All three of us starting big league centerfielders only (it seems) yesterday, looking at a summer trying to hang in there as a corner man in Syracuse. But I, I see light. I see an opening in the Mets outfield, and exploiting openings is my stock in trade. I think you'll see me in Flushing sooner than you might guess. Real soon. That's what I think. How about you?
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 I have more confidence in him being the right handed hitting outfielder than the other three guys if one of them has to play substantial innings this year.As someone who could play center for more than a few innings, not so much. But I think he'll make the team out of ST and play in 70 games, with 200 AB and a .245-7-27 (traditional stat) line.Later
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 I'm looking forward to attending Cuse games and knowing so many of the guys on the roster. Like this guy, for example.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 I suppose it's not a bad problem to have but I don't get where he fits in.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 The 'cuse is nice in the summer, but traded mid-July.

I don't see him making the team, but I'm not sure where he winds up. I'm going to say he declines to go to Syracuse and becomes a free agent after ST.
