Tomorrow (Thursday) will be the final poll of the second round. Next week we'll have finalized our Sweet Sixteen, and I'll post an updated bracket in this thread.



Third-round voting will begin on Monday, June 24, with Casey Stengel taking on Darryl Strawberry.

Under terms of the deal, Authentic Brands acquires the rights to market, develop and license Sports Illustrated and its kids' edition as well as its swimsuit and “Sportsperson of the Year” franchises, along with the magazine's photo archive. Meredith will pay a licensing fee to operate the editorial operations of Sports Illustrated in print and in digital for a minimum of two years. Editor Chris Stone and Publisher Danny Lee will continue to lead Sports Illustrated at Meredith.



Sports Illustrated's editoral operations have been sold to Maven (not to be confused with Stan Fischler).

Solid work, everybody, and especially Grimmstone. I think the upset of the tournament has to be McCall's losing to Jock.

Agree on Best Infield. I didn't think the Darryl cover was anything special, but enough of y'all did.



Jock is iconic and had a following already. McCall's was a kitschy surprise.



Sarco's staying power was the stunner for me.
