Gregor Blanco may have been named after the Father of Genetics, but you know, big whoop. I'M named after the greatest mathematician in all of antiquity. And you know what my middle name is? "Euclides." That's right, I'm named after TWO legendary ancient mathematicians. Suck it.

Apart from really interesting nomenclature, I've got plenty o' big league experience: 149 games with Miami, Pittsburgh, and Seattle. I also pitched for those Other Giants, as you can see above, with me pimping for Under Armor. That was fun, but it's kept me out of the bigs for a few years. What do I have left to offer now? A lot of people have opinions, but I want yours.

And in honor of my namesakes, please show your work,

Ish win, san losses, Ni.chi san ERA. *

That's 1-3, 2.43 ERA back in the states.

Later

* = my humble attempt at transliteration from how I've heard those numbers pronounced.

Will have difficulty finding a mathematical formula to solve for a spot on the 25-man. A non-roster invitee who will continue to remain not on the roster.

Fun fact: Ancient Archimedes' birthplace? Syracuse.
