Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I suppose since I have not started an IGT that led to a loss, that I will start tomorrow's thread today. Hopefully the forecast improves.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Harvey still the scheduled starter Tuesday, but Syndergaard moves up to Wednesday and deGrom gets the Gnats on Thursday. No Lugo for now.Weather permitting, of course.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 To clarify, Noah and Jake are where they were all along. It's really just a matter of Lugo getting bumped.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Rain most of the day Tuesday, high of 45Warmer but just as wet on Wednesday.Good thing this series comes against a division opponent with plenty of make-up chances.
Guest cooby Guests Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I was hoping to watch the game tonight but it looks like the Phillies station has the Flyers on. Sigh.Plus it's raining cats and dogs, at least here
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 This game is actually not going to be televised at all by the Phillies. They have two stations that their games appear on, and one will be showing the Sixers and the other will be showing the Flyers. If I want to watch the show (since the game is blacked on on MLB for me) I have to stream it from the local station's website.
Guest cooby Guests Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Ah, you are in the same boat. One of these days I'm going to find our Sirius password so I can listen on my laptop.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 With the snow we had yesterday added to the feline and canines coming down today, I'd be really surprised if the field was playable this evening.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 A start for Jose, and the pitcher bats ninth.Nimmo CFCabrera 2BCéspedes LFBruce RFFrazier 3BGonzález 1Bd’Arnaud CReyes SSHarvey RHP
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 So the pitcher batting 8th is a thing for Rosario then? If you like it for him, you might as well like it for Reyes, too.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.P.S. If you bring back a ball heading over the fence right around the 314 ft sign (as Tampa's Carlos Gomez just did to MFY Tyler Wade) should the fielder still get credit for a robbed HR?I was thinking that maybe it should count for only a stolen double or something, y'know, kinda like the too-small fish that you're required to throw back. Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Look at this clean-shaven baby-face the Mets have pitching.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Ten pitches in the first, 1-2-3, topping out at 93.Let's work with that.

Harvelous hit over .300 his first full season, if I'm remembering right, but his hitting fell off the table even before his pitching did.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Mickey has said that it would not be influenced by the hitting ability of his pitchers.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Reyes mentoring Rosario: Amed, no hagas lo que acabo de hacer.
Guest cooby Guests Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Un effing believable. I can't listen on Sirius either, because they only carry 2 games a day now. And through this whole foray I have discovered we are paying $1000 a year!

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 That's correct. I just don't feel like bothering to install an app and verify my account and all that for just this one game. So I'll just follow along with GameDay.
