  1. I cannot believe they are letting this slip away.
  2. I'm on board. These guys are too good to be this bad.
  3. Is the wind blowing out, or does Senga just not have it again?
  4. My guess is the team will give Benge a little more time and Mauricio will be headed out. What do you think?
  5. I like the Pirates one a lot -- especially the gold caps. But that looks just like Pirates uniform. I don't know what the city connection is for that one. I'm going to see the Brewers on Saturday night. Will be curious to see what those look like in the store.
  6. The Tigers made a change to their City Connect cap. They ditched the one with "Detroit" across the front, and replaced it with the regular Old English D, but kept the VIN on the side and the blue and black tiger eyes on the underbill.
  7. Did they reissue 8? I thought that was in mothballs but never retired. Could be wrong.
  8. Taking three of four from the Giants would be great! Here's hoping Senga is back to where we hoped he'd be!
  9. I like old postcards. I was in a very little Northern Michigan antique store today and stumbled upon a box of old postcards. They weren't organized at all and was about to pass, but started going through some. I came across this card of former Mets pitcher Jack Hamilton. I think it's hand-signed. It's from someplace called "The Pzazz" at Pointe Royale in Branson, Missouri. Took me down a fun rabbit hole. I looked it up. The Pzazz was a restaurant at the Pointe Royale golf resort owned by Hamilton. He passed in 2018, but the restaurant is still there. Hamilton played 16 years in the Majors, for the Phillies, Tigers, Mets, Angels, Indians, and finishing with the White Sox in 1972. His shining moment for the Mets was nearly throwing the team's first no-hitter. Hamilton tossed a one-hitter against the Cardinals in St. Louis on May 4, 1966, ; the one hit being a bunt single by opposing pitcher and future Met (and spring training spot namesake) Ray Sadecki. He hit a grand slam against the Cardinals in 1967-- teeing off on former and future Met Al Jackson. The thing I found funny about the card was the listing Nickname: "Hairbreath Harry" (Because of his many close decisions). He must not have minded the nickname, since he had it printed on a card for his own restaurant. BTW: @Brock Beauchamp, I LOVE how easy it is to post photos here!
  10. Good for Vientos, but what the heck was Semien doing that far out in centerfield?
  11. How do they lose a series to a team that is very openly not trying to contend? What happened to that offense after Opening Day?
  12. I know he's a place holder, but they brought about 80 relievers to camp. I'm ready to try a different one.
  13. I'm watching on my iPad with the sounds down low because my wife is watching a movie. Why is Gelbs eating a hot dog?
