  1. Mets haven't done one of these in a while. Let's finish it. Combined with yesterday I'm thinking good things.

  3. Well done. I will adjust.
  4. I took away .5 from Castro for not blocking just ONE of the wild pitches from Santana. Tatis has 3 two out RBI.
  5. I can see the one double to no hits argument. I don't agree that K's are more valuable than other outs, provided no runners are scored or advanced. I definitely don't agree with changing your vote because of what someone else votes. The last is essentially using your vote to cancel out someone else's. It'd be like if I gave Sanchez a lot of extra beer b/c I think you guys are shortchanging him. Not right. Just my two cents.
  6. Why are peeps giving Wags more beer than Sanchez for the Tuesday 5/27 game?
  7. Santana 3.75 Tatis 2 Castro 1.5 Wagner 0.75 Sanchez 0.75 Wright 0.75
  8. Don't take any shit. You're a winner today.
  9. Not hearing TCB is really the only thing I like about the losses. Isn't it time for a new song? Didn't that start in 2006?

Then tell him not to turn it 135 degrees over his shoulder a second time. Too busy telling my 11 year-old's LL team. After telling them have one of them tell Chavez not to leave the base on a fly ball or line drive when he's on third with less then two out.

  14. Quite calm. That was a shot at Phillips, not you.
  15. I don't know if "Steve Phillips did it" is a ringing endorsement. I agree that the money isn't a big deal. It's getting someone to play first that poses the difficulty.
  16. I agree. I see him playing the same and outproducing any potential replacements. I don't see why anyone thinks cutting him without replacing his production would benefit the team.
  17. Keith reports that pitch hit 86 on the gun.
  18. I blame Castro for the second run last inning. He got it back.
  19. Out of the players you named, my money would be on Delgado to have the best production for the rest of the year. Tatis is fun right now, but I don't trust him long term. If you're talking about a temporary benching I might agree and see what Tatis can do. But now we need Tatis in the outfield. Cutting Delgado wouldn't work.
  20. Can Peterson/Willie grow a set and put Santana out in the eighth? I want Santana/Wagner to finish this. Santana's at 106 pitches.
  21. He looks like Tea Leoni.
  22. Castro doing a shitty job blocking those. Reyes has his head up his ass. One handing bouncers on a rainy day. Makes me feel bad for Willie.
  23. He was getting with fastballs that he couldn't catch up to, barely fouling them off. When he finally got a slider he was meat.
  24. Apparently that's what cutting Delgado would mean.
