What soup said. I'm not meaning to say he watches a lot of great pitches fly by him. It's just when he does, that memory makes me want to puke. It's thoughts like this that cause WFAN callers.

  9. Lemme get this straight. On a seeing eye single with runners on first and second, Wagner is supposed to back up THIRD? Shouldn't he be backing up home? Either way he screwed up but he's not responsible for the throw getting by Wright. And the only reason Young David shoulda knocked it down was to keep the trail runner from going to second, which according to the broadcast team had already happened. If the guy's gonna get second, the only thing you knock the ball down for is to keep the (unimportant) run from scoring. And Beltran had that guy by a mile if he throws it straight. The exciting NL East standings is bringing out my inner homer.
  10. Did Wagner really blast Ollie? Seems to me is he said some things that anyone with eyes knew. And it's not like it has hurt Ollie's career. If anything, it's improved it. And that's the good thing about Wagner's admitting when he screwed up. He can take and receive the tongue-lashings. A lot of what Wagner does is messed up but I think he's being treated slightly too harshly.

  18. Tell me Gameday had a typo and Muniz wasn't really in there.
  19. AG/DC wrote: Beltran is the diference keeping us from breaking this open. He was a big part of the 3 run third. AG/DC wrote: I'm OK with a rest for him. Me too.
  20. Heilman's given up one run in a month. He just got out the heart of the order 1-2-3. One pitch gets away from him and he's pulled. My first beef with Manuel.
  21. Does Beltran need a rest? They say he's getting tomorrow off. I was skeptical with Wright being "tired", but it seemed to work.
  22. Young David paused, took three or four walking steps, and then took off. Coulda saved himself a belly-flop by busting it out of the box.
  23. Can someone teach Reyes how to run the bases? Or how about the game of baseball in general?
