  1. Bell on to pitch. Single to center. WOW!!! Choi is slow, but he gets home. Decent throw by Beltran, and a nice effort by Mikey, but he just got in there.
  2. Dribbler down the line to right for Phillips. Wright has to go to first, runner scores. Ho-hum. 4-0 Dodgers.Double for Choi on a ball that Floyd cuts off, and the replay shows he was out. Runner scores. 5-0. Booing.
  3. Three up three down for the Mets in the bottom of the fourth.First batter, grounder to Reyes. He caught it on the second hop and had to kind of rush the throw. One hopper, nice catch by MonkeyWrench with a stretch and scoop.Line drive double down the left field line for Kent.Sharp single up the middle for Ledee. First and third, one out. Peterson is talking to Zamby with his trademark hand on the left shoulder as Ralph reminds us that Peterson said he could fix him in ten minutes.Kiner's throat sounds surprisingly clear today.
  4. Zambrano getting booed enough that they replay the sounds in the bottomo of the fourth. Who is it that's always saying they hate Met Fans? I'm starting to agree. Maybe I'm just being grumpy.
  5. Steals third, I blame Zambrano for that one. Single for Weaver scores him. Ugh.
  6. Piazza with a decent throw, but Werth steals second anyway.
  7. Phillips with a single that would've been a double to anyone else.Groundout to Minky, who steps on first, throws the ball wide to right. Reyes taps it with his glove, but it trickles into left, and Phillips with his blinding speed is able to get to third.Seeing eye single by Werth between Reyes and Wright to score him.2-0 Dodgers.
  8. The Mets ain't hitting. Maybe we can use some of yesterday's runs.
  9. Kent hits one into the Dodger bullpen and is booed as he rounds the bases. Finally, the Met fans booing when they should be.
  10. I sure as hell didn't consider Timo a bright young talent in 2002.
  11. Your application and a complimentary brochure are in the mail. I hope you'll join, with your help we could double the current enrollment. We open the books next week.
  12. The Old Mole, Professional Poet.
  13. Hello Dr. Bubba.
  14. Doc shoulda got 31 this year.
  15. I'll go out on a limb and agree with Willets. I thought people might get offended by [u:af3c951122]my[/u:af3c951122] avatar, because the guy never hit really well.
  16. So these Met starters have been pitching well. Trade Ishii and Glavine while their values are at their peaks. I still don't think this team is making a run.
  17. Bell hitting. Looks like he'll finish it. I wish I was home. I always like to watch relivers hit. Between Koo and a Franco at-bat from years ago when his helmet looked to be crushing his head I've seen some funny ones.
  18. Ah, gotcha. I'll try to find a suitable replacement picture.OE: done.OE2: That makes three of us with Peavy starting today. Justice was meted out by the Met bats.
  19. 1-2-3 innings for both Koo and Bell. Mets lead 12-0 going to the home eighth.
  20. Fantasy rule #1: Never start the opposing team's pitcher against your team.
  21. holychicken wrote:Elster, tripod is a beotch and won't let you link to pictures hosted by them. . .all I see is "hosted by tripod"That's weird. I guess I can see it only because it was my post.
  22. The top of the sixth started with a walk and a single, but Ishii pitches out of it.Top 6TH B:4 S:1 O:0Mark Loretta walks. Top 6TH B:0 S:0 O:0Brian Giles singles on a line drive to right fielder Mike Cameron. Mark Loretta to 2nd. Top 6TH B:2 S:3 O:1Phil Nevin strikes out swinging. Top 6TH B:3 S:2 O:2Xavier Nady flies out to left fielder Cliff Floyd. Top 6TH B:0 S:3 O:3Khalil Greene strikes out swinging.
  23. Now let's just avoid an Ishiimiddleinningmeltdown and rest Bert and Loop again.
  24. I like Reyes batting leadoff, especially on a team with no other leadoff options.
