2. Reyes making it happen. Single, stolen base, to third on Cameron's fly out to center.
3. I'd say this is a Big Important Game.

And my outrage at not having signed Vlad in 2004. We need a heart of the order, despite the fact that we're paying Piazza a lot of money to hit poorly, and he have to pay money to get it.I especially agree with this.
5. Baseball is making me sad these days. After 68 games the Mets are 33-35. Last year, 34-34.
6. ]As they begin their first series in Seattle, the Mets of Martinez, Beltran and manager Willie Randolph are 33-33. The Mets of John Franco, Al Leiter, and Art Howe were 32-34 after 66 games last seasonThis is disturbing.
7. Benson - 2.5 Beltran - 2.5 Castro - 2.5 Piazza - 1.5Daubach - 1

9. I would have voted Beltran, or "no one".
10. I would've thought Floyd for sure earlier this year. He still might have a shot. When do the coaches pick the reserves?
11. Gilkey really did have a monster '96 didn't he? It seems weirder every time.
12. Why the rip on Bobby V?
13. ]You can never have too many arms . . .Just as GSLC.
14. 4) I kind of like the capacity as it is now.
15. I went with Humber. I really have no strong feeling that it will be anyone, I just really doubt it will be Pedro.
16. Johnny Dickshot wrote:]Maybe if y'all are good, I'll scan my "10-run 8th inning' scorecard and post it. What a game that was.Start an all-purpose Scanned Scorecards Thread.... NOW!!!!I like this idea a lot. Like, more than I can express.
17. I have no problem with Shea being knocked down.
18. ]Nice to have you back, SaladocI second that. But what is your full name now? Saladetric? Saladometric? Saladoctric?
19. Could I have mine updated, too? ejflor on ezboard.
20. I love Fonzie for the memories, but Matsui for him straight up is a bad deal for the Mets. Throwing in another player, too? Lunacy.
21. It's really going to skew the post per day count. IP/Cookie/Scarlet Knight is now up to 497 per day. Cooby's at 1658 per day.
22. The Anti-Cookie was the last #32. See this outstanding site: http://www.mbtn.net/31-40.htmSpeaking of which, you guys should link your pages to the front page again. That was a nice feature on ezboard. Bam! I'm on UMDB, Bam! I'm on MBTN, etc.
23. ]he has fallen out of favor with both manager Willie Randolph and General Manager Omar Minaya,I didn't get this impression when Willie was on the radio. He was more than willing to talk about moving Diaz to first, but he kept saying it was Kaz's position and that he feels like Kaz will heat up.
24. That's all well and good, but if he wants to pitch for the big club he better perform like he belongs there.
