  1. I wonder if 82-80 will be enough for fourth._____________________________This post had the designation 161) Johnny Lewis
  2. I thought you loved Wright that way, not Matsui. __________________________________________________________ This post had the designation 161) Johnny Lewis
  3. Just to be a pain in the neck, I'll mention that I'm not sure how good his statistics as a Met were against Atlanta in September. But I'd rather have him than Looper, is true. _____________________________ This post had the designation 161) Johnny Lewis
  4. I think that's enough House of Pain lyrics. _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips

    Cheat.

So fuck you Joe-boo, I do it myself. _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips

If Cliff was able to spend another season or two and/or win a title of some kind (division, wild card, whatever), he might pass McReynolds. He would certainly be remembered fondly if this was it. I'm guessing this will anger those who don't like Mac because he likes hunting more than baseball and those who were alive in '69, but McReynolds should rank above Cleon. Cliff shouldn't catch him without at least three good seasons, or two GilkeyIn96-esque seasons. And one good season plus a WS ring doesn't count. _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips
  7. Edgy DC wrote: Gooden went three innings of one-hit ball, with two walks and one strikeout. Darlin' had gotten singled to death in the second before getting an out. Jefferies had made a big error, and Backman error also cost the Mets after Gooden came in. Gooden had thrown 8.1 three games earlier. One of the worst days of my life. Each inning was excruciating, and this I was amazingly (for me, anyway) sure that we had no chance of Hershiser. I still can't believe I liked this guy 11 years later. He was the first person I ever hated. I didn't even hate Mike Scott.
  8. ]A little dip of tobacco. I feel guilty doing it but it's very pleasurable. Really? _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips
  9. ]Doc didn't make a relief appearance until Game 7 of the '88 NLCS when things were just about as hopeless. He did OK but it didn't matter against Hershiser. More than okay if I remember correctly. Didn't he come in at 6-0 in the second, which was the final score? _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips
  10. It's not lost, it's been the same all year long. It was lost in Arizona. _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips
  11. Pedro will be 13-7 if the Mets don't come back. He looks discomfited to be coming out of the game. I'm shocked that he could get that many losses, the way he has pitched, on a team that is fifth in the league in RS. Grr, gumble, grouch. Wow I was off on his record _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips
  12. Giles can fly. Keith is pissed. _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips
  13. Yes. Five man rotation for the remaining 25. _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips
  14. I would say, no, do not go to Gooden. 'Course, just because he was warmin' doesn't mean he's comin' in. But it's all speculatin' which is fun. _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips
  15. Edgy DC wrote: Triple for KazMat. Can we call him hot yet? NO GODDAMMIT. KAZ SUCKS. EVEN A BROKEN CLOCK IS RIGHT TWICE A DAY, BRING UP THE MINOR LEAGUER. I am lashing out a lot today. My apologies. _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips
  16. You know, if the Mets weren't fifth in the league in RS and second in RS/RA differential or whatever the fuck, I'd be worried. _____________________________ This post had the designation 162) Mike Phillips

I referred to it's size once and Bret of course thought I was singling him out even though I pm'd a few people weeks before (spaceman's bong for sure) and I just never followed through with the downsizing campaign. Images can be blocked in most browsers from particular url's if they are really offensive. If anyone needs help doing that please pm my your browser type and version and I'll try to send you the steps. Thanks for everyone's patience. Thanks for the info. I didn't realize it was the easy. If I had that big a problem with Sal's avatar that I should have asked if it was possible to do this before bothering Sal.
  18. Matsui! _____________________________ This post was made under the designation 162) Mike Phillips
  19. When you put it that way he sounds like an OBP fiend to me._____________________________This post was made under the designation 163) Charlie Neal
  20. These are the reasons I refuse to do KTE's. Nice, Doc. _____________________________ This post was made under the designation 163) Charlie Neal

  22. That's a heck of an article. I'll have to plow through it again when I have more time to give it more attention.I really don't think plugging Cammy and Mikey back in fixes the problem either. One more bat needed please._____________________________This post was made under the designation 163) Charlie Neal
  23. Bret Sabermetric wrote: Seems to me you've got a complaint with KC for posting the image in the first place. If it was acceptable in order to make fun of me, then I think it's acceptable (to me) in order to make fun of him. Or maybe you want to make me into some kind of long-suffering martyr or something, you know, taking shit but never getting to dish any out? Nah, nobody thinks that's really fair, least of all, Mr. Fairness himself. Like I said, though you are choosing to ignore: That picture is everywhere now, on all of your posts, whereas the original is nowhere to be found. The reason I didn't complain in the first place in the original post is because I knew where it was, and I didn't have to go look at it if I didn't want to (and I continued to read that thread anyway). This is obviously not true anymore. To me your whole argument is stupid. "KC posted it so I can too. See, since you didn't complain the first time it's too late now."
  24. I do know and I think we had this discussion before. It was objectional all along. Not even necessarily because it's Christ in particular who is depicted, but because it's someone covered in blood screaming in agony. My point is that this picture is now on every one of your posts, whereas the original post is buried away somewhere that I don't have to look at it. _____________________________ This post was made under the designation 163) Charlie Neal
  25. I just don't like your avatar. I am staying out of the rest of it. _____________________________ This post was made under the designation 163) Charlie Neal
