    Reyes with his second base on balls for the day. This is what we need to see from him. Hes got a decent number of hits and he needs to up that OBP to be the kind of lead off batter he should be. Cuz he gets to 1st and 2nd is as good as his--like there- Reyes steals second again.

    milledge takes strike 3 with the bases loaded. But id rather see him patient like that, running the count and lookin for one pitch, than be over agressive and swingin wild at anything close. This sounds silly, but i liked that at bat by him. He had it set up to look for his pitch.

    I have to admit that, being a team that in most recent years considered its main objective to reach or stay around (hopefully over) .500, that this is feeling a little out of place for me. But I'll adjust. Im gonna eat this up like cherry pie. Savor it like fine wine. Enjoy every damned minute of it. Still alotta season left and still many things could go wrong. No jinx here-thats just the way baseball is. So enjoy it and always look on the bright side.
