  1. Reyes: 2 Beltran: 1.5 Delgado: 1.5 Wright: 1.5 Franco: .3 O Hernandez: .5 Oliver: 1.5 Feliciano: 1 Bell: .2
  2. Odd and surprising note (and Ive seen my share of Phils games cuz they are on local TV here, and I find this hard to believe): Abreu gets no errors on the balls to the wall (maybe rightly so), but he gets an error on the throw he made to the plate on the Milledge single that miraculously almost got Chavez (a great throw that got away from the Phils catcher), and THAT was Abreus first error of the season. Thats pretty wack.
  3. A double play ends it! Mets win 9-3! Mets are 8 1/2 games up on the Phils and 12 games up on the Braves!
  4. A strike out wild pitch safe at first- wacky. They changed that to a past ball. And that Bell liner to left almost eats up Milledge. whew.
  5. loDuca crushes one to center but the wind keeps in in the park. Harry K says last night that would a hit the clock out there, lol.
  6. Well--what do i know?--I thought Burrell was out in left. --he has a smooth 1-2-3 inning. Ks the pesky Utley.
  7. Didnt we see Feliciano for 2 last night? Im surprised to see him get the ball.
  8. Can you believe Abreu does it again!??? Misplays a catchable fly at the wall off Mr Francos bat and Mets get another run. Milledge thrown out at the plate tho.
  9. Valentin hammers a lead off double to right. More runs please. Phils force our hand by walking Lastings and Mr Franco will pinch hit for Oliver.
  10. ewww- Rowand tags but Chavez makes it close with an excellent throw. I think it was you that brought up Endys arm afew days ago Frayed Knot, and maybe Willie DID know what he was sayin there about Chavez's arm. He threw that across his body going away for a real nice peg to the plate. 7-3 Mets.
  11. Lead off double for Rowand. Not up enough for Beltran to catch up to that. Oliver looks like he's laboring. But it would really be nice to get afew more innings from him. Rowand tags to third on a deep fly to center by DeLucci.
  12. cripes- I just realized that Burrell isnt even playing left tonight. You would have thought LoDucas first inning double, which I noted, would have clued me in.
  13. Oliver Ks Howard with 3 pitches and two on base! If the Mets can always handle Howard like that, they will never have anything to worry about when playing the Phils. Well,...except Utley and Burrell and...Rollins can go on that list now , and..... ok--Ill shut up.
  14. ="Edgy DC"]Lame defensive boners and spacey baserunning mistakes pretty much characterized the Diamondbacks performance also. Getting outhit and outpitched is one thing, but the teams the Mets are running into are beating themselves as badly as the Mets are beating them. this is true.
  15. yow! The wind must be pretty wicked for Utley to let that Millidge pop make a fool out of him. Another Philly error. Foul ball tho, and Millege gives em an easier pop up to handle. And they catch it Oliver bats and lines out hard to right.
  16. Johnny Dickshot wrote: Manuel should keep walking, cuz he's probably going to be fired by the end of this series. This would really surprise me.
  17. Go play some cards Charlie! Manuel gets tossed after Bell gets rung up on a questionable strike 3 call. And he's still jawin--gettin his moneys worth before headin for the clubhouse, lol. Oliver has a relitively smooth inning, thanks to Delgados glove work and that umps bad call..
  18. WOW! Delgado flashes some leather! Nice.
  19. ="metirish"]We are back , Oliver pitching for the Mets... I ripped this from someone here--whoever it was, thanks. Its a great graphic with soooooo many possible uses.
  20. ]Pitcher Randy Johnson of the Yankees was ejected from the game in the top of the 7th inning by home plate umpire Paul Schrieber for throwing at batters. Batters? Yanks up 6-1? This should be an interesting story. What pissed off the Unit?

I saw that interview last week---Willis is such a refreshing kid. Great interview and great tales Dontrelle told. He's gettin ruffed around tonight by the Braves - and I never would have predicted such a sorry start for him this year. worrysome to me,as he's a fantasy pitcher of mine in two leagues. I have faith in that kid tho.

Should be interesting to see whats gonna happen when they return, cuz they are gonna start and play, at least for a time. I wont even acknowledge the Cliffy trade talk. I personally would like to see Milledge up and on the bench, gellin with the team and being influenced on a major league level by the likes of Delgado, Beltran and Wright.

Yes, that Keith Miller. no shit.
  24. If the delay isnt that long-maybe stick with Hernandez and try to get afew more out of him. The way he was starting to look tho, i dont think any delay is gonna help him. He was starting to look uncontrolled. If its longer than 15 minutes---I wouldnt mind seein Oliver for 2 to 4. Sanchez can do an inning. Bradford in a fix. If it gets close we got Wags in the 9th.
