="Elster88"]You know...with Gagne back...the Dodgers are pretty darn good team. I used to hate them in the days of Mike Scioscia. Gagne won't pitch for a few days LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Los Angeles Dodgers closer Eric Gagne will be shut down for a few days because of stiffness in his surgically repaired pitching elbow. The 30-year-old right-hander earned his first save in nearly a year Tuesday night by striking out two in a perfect ninth inning in an 8-5 victory over the New York Mets, but said afterward he wasn't 100 percent. __________________________________________________________ And his stuff looked sick last night. Glad if this is still close in the 9th we dont have to see him. When I heard the mets had 5 runs in the first two innings I figured that would be all Glavine would need. Baseball,---this is a wacky game.
