  1. The righty infielder (plays first, second, and third) is 26, drafted by the Mets in 2008 out of UC Berkeley. Was last year's FSL top All-Star, and made the ESL game this year. .322/.421/.538 with 11 home runs and 2 SB, so I imagine he profiles more towards the corners than second. (Except of course, if he wants to play for the Mets) He extended his consecutive games on base streak to 43 straight. Yeah, 43 straight. The next best streaks in the Eastern League this year? 27.
  2. Be a good name for a dominatrix. I demand an explanation of why he's named that.

("Rest," says B-Met pitching coach Marc Valdes.) Yeah, I have no idea either. Innings limitation? He is just 21, and pushing 100 innings on the season already. (3-3, with a 2.63 ERA/1.14 WHIP over 16 starts combined, with 100 K, 33 BB, a just-about-1-to-1 GB/FB ratio, and a low low .214 BAA.) 100 seems like a lot so far. how many did he throw last year? (121, and 134 the year before) I doubt they'd want to push him much beyond 150 or so right?
  4. No 2 for 1's at Chillis in Connecticut?!?! Addressing all our concerns.

The interface is far superior to Yahoo! I've never liked most of the other formats, but I agree on cutting an OF spot. not enough players out there. There are like 7 guys that aren't on teams and they get 2-3 AB a week.
  6. In a different league, was Offered Michael Cuddyer or Carlos Pena and JJ Hardy or Asdrubal Cabrera for Reyes. Can't. Practice what I preach. Reyes Will. Not. Be. Traded. besides which, in this points league he's 9 points ahead of Matt Kemp who's second and 35 ahead of Adrian Gonzalez who is third.
  7. Sure, he went 0-4 with a walk for Binghamton today, but he also pitched a scoreless inning, 1 hit, for a games finished!
  8. Promoted to AA. 9. I can't wait until some creative announcers says he's "Flashing the Leather" when he makes a good play. twitter says he's signing Sunday.

  11. To Binghamton!
  12. Sure, I'll take Jason Bay for Cody Ross. Bay's polite Canadianness gives my bench a friendlier attitude.
  13. 4 for his last 9, all singles. 1 run scored. Not exactly smacking the ball all over the place or anything.
  14. Saw it last night. I gave it a B just because. I did really enjoy it though. Lots of action and craziness, which I tend to enjoy. Plus I have never seen any other incarnation of the A-Team, so I wasn't holding it up to any other standards.
  15. Because, why not? Drafted by the New York Mets in the 41st round of the 2009 MLB June Amateur Draft. He's another 'born in '86' Mets farmhand. turns 25 in December. He's a switch-hitter, mostly plays first base although has seen some time at 3B/LF/RF. Played in the Gulf in 2009 (after graduation, was a Florida Atlantic Owl) , Savanna last year, and is on the Port St. Lucie Mets, often eating at Duffy's with his roommates: Matt den Dekker and Rylan Sandoval. 16. Here's a random shot of him on some back field in spring training.

Iffy imo, because supposedly that prospect guy the Phillies wanted to play RF is healthy again and if they promote him he could take Ben's time.
  18. and MCL goes boom. sad. surgery recommended.
  19. I'm rapidly dropping in the standings with no offensive help to find.
  20. Also, the den is lower case. Matt den Dekker.
  21. his words with friends ID is: mdendekker
  22. I didn't know if Knot was doing that or not or if he just tossed Nieuwy here for completenesses sake.
  23. How does this work, does the lack of an adopted prefix mean he's available for me to raise?

I liked it, thought it was decently funny, light and enjoyable. No cinematic breakthroughts or innovation for sure, but they weren't going for that either. I happen to like Paul Rudd (I think?) and whatshisface from How I Met Your Mother.
