I would agree with Lunchbuckets assertion. Shortstop and second base generally handle more chances in games, which is a big part of why defense a strong defense "up the middle" is important. However, an error at third base is much more likely to result in multiple bases.

Whew. Devers hits a soft grounder to McNeil to end the inning. Way more anxiety than I wanted in that inning. We need a run or two to reduce the stress in the ninth.
After getting Duran. Young suddenly loses the strike zone. Walk and hit batter brings the Red Sox best hitter up. Wild pitch moves the runners into scoring position.
Just noticed that Jarren Duran has a rather unusual grip on the bat. He interlocks the pinky of his top (left) hand between the index and middle finger of his bottom (right) hand. Similar to golf grip.
Alnso with a beautifal stop of a hot shot down the line. Then he hit Severino with a perfect throw to first. Alonzo's defense has improved immensely over his career.
I think Duran surprised Marte there. Marte's throw was pretty relaxed (getting the ball in) rather than his usual gun when attempting to throw a runner out. Duran damn near made it.
Okay, his inability to do much meaningful. I mean, he did a few meaningful hits, but he was still stalled on the interstate when the Mets cut bait. A broken clock is correct twice a day, but the rest of the time it is pretty useless.
