    I just click on <Go to topic listing in the lower left corner of the screen, after the last post which takes me back to the front page of the Sub-Forum (i.e. non-baseball forum) you are currently in. It doesn't look like a tab, just the words. I hope this helps.

    Great book! I have enjoyed several fine books by Nathaniel Philbrick, I did not know that Heart of the Sea hd been made into a movie.

    Results wise, he looks a lot like Morabito.

    I think he is down the right field line. At the start of the broadcast he was talking of how he could really watch the play of the first baseman and pitchers from his vantage point.

    I think Torrens picked the wrong pitch to challenge.

    Well, Soto is pretty good. Unfortunately, he is pretty much the Mets offense.

    The Reds hit yet another rope against Peterson. He then fails to back up the play at the plate, which allows Stephenson to advance to third with no outs.

    His numbers will be a little less respectable after tonight. You could hang laundry on all the line drives the Reds have hit off Peterson today.

    Weak ground out to short and Peterson escapes a big jam. Now can the Mets put a ball in play against Burns?

    Peterson doesn't have it tonight. He either walks the hitters or they get a hit. Now down 2-0 with bases loaded, a weak ground ball to Peterson leads to a 1-2-3 DP. Now Peterson needs to close this inning out.

    The Padres offense is pretty pathetic, that's for sure. However, they have scored more runs than the Mets and though their average is even worse than ours, their OPS is better. If misery loves company, then I guess one could take solace in the Padres offensive woes. Unfortunately, they are practically a mirror image of the Mets inept offense, so I have seen that lack of offense more than I wish this season.

    Another day, another game, same rsult. Mets down 2 in the top of the first. Would have been worse had Melendez not thrown Saurez out at the plate to end the inning.

    wow. I didn't expect that to be overturned. Probably was out, but it wasn't definitive to where I expected the Mets to win the challenge.

    I wish I had your optimism regarding this team. I think "nice to actually score", then I remember that 8 runs is essentially a series worth for this offense.

    Wow. Vientos strikes out swinging a a pitch that hits him in his right shin. This team creates ways to look bad.

    Not today. McLean should be fine. He's getting behind hitters and people are sitting on the fastball. Unlike the Mets lineup, they are hitting it hard.

    What's the over/under that the Mets end up with more hits than the Reds do runs?

    Now a no doubter by Bleday and the Reds lead 3-0. Barring a miracle, that's game over.

    Morabito is hitless in 8 at bats with 7 strike outs. Also 0-1 in stolen base attempts.

    Well, this game is very quickly getting out of hand. With this offense, 2 runs with 8 innings to play almost seems insurmountable.

    Well, now he gets to face the Mets line up, without Soto, which seems to help almost any opposing pitcher's numbers.

    I have resigned myself to the expectation that this team will be lucky to make it to 82 wins. I will be shocked with anything beyond that. I will continue to watch them, but I doubt it will be as often as it has been to this point.

    Since they had a challenge left, there was nothing to lose in giving it a shot. The Mets need to use their ABS Challenges in high leverage situations with men in scoring position or when the game is on the line, as it was in the ninth inning today. For every game like today's, where the Mets failed to use their challenges, there is another game in which Mets hitters "wasted" their challenges with 2 out and nobody on in the second or third innings. If a hitter is going to use a challenge in a low leverage situation, then they best be damn sure they are correct.
