    It's easy to scream for a player or manager's head during dark times. I felt that way during the 12 game losing streak and a decision was made to keep Mendoza about then by David Stearns I watch a game like this and and if management believes the Mets might get back into the race how can you not replace Mendoza? There is little or no engagement coming from him IMHO. Wouldn't you want a possible spark from a new manager as opposed to letting good baseball man Carlos Mendoza finish the season?     We have a direct engagement with a division rival whose fan base reaches into much of south NJ Manaea gets the start. He will not be piggybacking today so therein lies the mystery Aaron Nola has had a rough time of it. His ERA is 5+ and his whip is 1.47 I am hopeful Nola doesn't piece it together and resemble his all star past LGM!
