  1. The booth and Will Sammons have Peralta going to the Rays. More to come
  2. Melendez DFA Stock #89
  3. Resource wise Steve Cohen brings as much to the table as anyone including the Dodgers It does feel like what the Dodgers obtain turns into gold and what the Mets get turns to poo figuratively I consider Cohen responsible for getting Soto and am trying to remember any great Mets acquisition successes primarily orchestrated by Stearns
  4. Tigers got Zyhir Hope River Ryan and Brady Smith Zyhir Hope is the biggee. River Ryan has debuted and is 27 and Brady Smith I don't know much about
  5. Still very quiet going into Sunday
  6. This feels like a low ebb end of season game and it's only August 1st
  7. I missed it, poop. Like many I suppose I remember exactly where I was and with who I was with during game six
  8. A top 100 prospect for Peralta is a stretch unless maybe he is injured Stearns is very aware of whatever he brings in for Peralta will be compared to Jett Williams and Brandon Sproat. Granted those two haven't done much but still it has to weigh on Stearns
  9. Lopez 6 Hernandez 7 Hicks 2 Edwards 4 Jimenez 5 Stowers 3 Sanoja 9 Ruiz 8 Conine DH Philips 1 Ewing 8 Lindor 6 Bichette DH Benge 9 Young 3 Semien 4 Baty 5 Taylor 7 Torrens 2 Thornton 1
  10. McLean Scott and Thornton represent a solid start to 2027 I beginning to conclude that Jonah Tong just can't throw enough strikes
  11. Mike Sirota is the guy the Dodgers seem open to moving They got him in a trade in 2024 with the Reds for Gavin Lux Sirota is red smoking hot now at AA and a great time to make him available at top dollar. That would allow them to keep Zyhir Hope and Jorge DePaula Note to Stearns, please don't overplay Peralta to dust
  12. Lindor's name is starting to pop again. The Mariners are mentioned
  13. Not risking injury. No trade reported
  14. Per MLB lineups. Other sites have Joel Pintaro filling in
  15. The Mets basically gave up two top 100's in Jett Williams and Brandon Sproat to have Freddy Peralta for a full year and possibly leverage to extend him So one Top 100 seems a reasonable ask for Peralta at least to me I don't think the Mets will get one unless maybe they add something
  16. Casey Mize of the Tigers just got scratched from his start today. He is thought to be going somewhere. This could happen to Peralta I guess
  17. Let's see if Luke Weaver goes today
  18. I am underwhelmed
  19. 8:15 start I just want Stearns to fail here. It's just me. Luis Robert Jr seems like a happy sort
  20. Freddy Peralta is primarily a victim of pitching on a very bad ball club and expecting him to do the work of an ace His metrics are largely unchanged from prior seasons
  21. I personally believe David Stearns is pounding the table as hard on Luis Robert Jr than any other Met to get him gone In that respect I hope Robert whiffs 4 times in a Mets win Pete Alonso Pete Alonso
