  2. Smith tossed for having teenager palms
  3. Yah, Luis knots it back up
  4. Scherzer pitching like shizer
  5. Yeah, I mean, we've got the rotation queued up correctly for this pair of games, but, problem is, that those two have often sucked big nertz this year
  6. Can we win two in a row is that permitted ? Gosh I hope so Carlos Carrasco on the hill, 1:35 PM first pitch.
  7. I kind of want Vientos in the lineup as much as possible until Pete's back, just to see if he can right things at the MLB level.
  8. Yah Fboy and I took in a game there with the Seawolf family pre-Covid. The Wilson Ramos game, it turned out to be. Beautiful stadium.
  9. I'd like to see them unfuck this road trip. Even if it's just for a day. Kodai Senga on the bump
  10. Still a Met. Nido clears waivers and accepts Mets AAA assignment. Excerpt: Tomas Nido cleared waivers Friday, the team announced, and accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Syracuse. The catcher was designated for assignment Monday, when Omar Narvaez returned from the injured list. Nido could have refused the outright to become a free agent, but that would have meant giving up the remainder of the two-year contract worth $3.7 million he received from the Mets last offseason. Nido didn't have minor league options remaining, but as a player with less than five years major league experience was eligible for outright and is off the 40-man roster. https://nypost.com/2023/06/10/tomas-nido-clears-waivers-accepts-mets-triple-a-assignment/https://nypost.com/2023/06/10/tomas-nido-clears-waivers-accepts-mets-triple-a-assignment/ He's the first one up if Alvarez or Narvaez has to miss time so I see where he'd keep his money and come up here to play ball this summer.

  12. Turned it off. Going to bed.
  13. That third strike call on Ozuna was a gift if I've ever seen one
  14. Mets are worse than a breath of Syracuse air this week.
  15. Ugh, enough of Vogey already
  16. =metirish post_id=127954 time=1686184651 user_id=72] Pete is day to day with wrist contusion X-ray negative
  17. I went to bed, at least, before it all went to shit.
  18. Couple o no doubters I like it
  19. I hope that this is the beginning of the unfunkening for Lindor
  20. I didn't think he left on the greatest terms but I feel for the guy. He wasn't doing me no harm in Arlington
  21. Benjamin Grimm wrote: If I end up retiring to the Vegas area, which is quite possible, I'll go see the Mets play the A's when they come to town every other year. But I doubt I'd attend any other games and I'm not going to become an A's fan. There are people who switch their allegiances when they move to a new area. I have a childhood friend who grew up a Mets fan but then switched to the Marlins when he moved to Florida and then to the Braves when he moved to Georgia. I don't do that. My uncle has done that, grew up a Yankees fan in Queens (pre 1962, so Queens was a toss up between any of the 3 NY teams back then), then became a Sox fan in the 1970s when he moved to Acton, and now an Orioles fan as he's been in Ellicott City MD since the mid 1990s. I guess if you're just a casual fan you can keep your local ties and have it be OK. It seems alien to me personally.
  22. His team is still 38-20 even without him. So somehow we still got more fucked on this? I'm butthurt about it
  23. Not a dry eye in the house with Nido leaving
  24. I prefer my Mets teams to be less toilety than this
