I got 7 as well. I know diddily-poo-poo about the Rockies it would seem. I thought of Matt Holliday for COL/OAK but not in time for this quiz. COL/DET - Octavio Dotel 7% DET/SD - Rob Deer .3% DET/500 HR - Sheffield 7% COL/OAK - OAK/SD - Rickey Henderson 24% OAK/500 HR - Jimmie Foxx 7% SF/COL - SF/SD - Jake Peavy 24% SF/500 HR - Willie McCovey 12%
I spent time with my family instead. We play in a summer volleyball league on Tuesday nights. Last night we came back to win the third set and save face after dropping the first two. More fun than listening to those fucking ESPN hacks. Based on the comments here I will watch the 8-10 minute MLB site condensed game, which is a format I've appreciated this season for those west coast Mets swings. OE: Fox hacks. Same thing
Got 7 - apparently I know equally little about the White Sox. CWS/ARI - JJ Putz 2% ARI/SEA - The Big Unit 54% ARI/100 RBI - Luis Gonzalez 41% CWS/FLA - SEA/FLA - Dee Gordon 21% FLA/100 RBI - Preston Wilson .5% CWS/ROY - SEA/ROY - Ichiro 41% ROY/100 RBI - Fred Lynn 4%

We've switched from YouTube TV to Hulu Live which costs essentially the same $70 per month but still carries SNY. We figured out after the fact that this tier includes commercials during DVR'd content that cannot be skipped, and that the commercial free tier actually is $82 per month. So that sucks a big butt.
Ugh, I was so close, I have been wrongly guessing Octavio Dotel twice per week and this was the time I should have pulled the trigger on him and did not. HOU/LAD - LAD/NYM - Duke Snider .6% LAD/200H - Babe Herman .4% NYY/HOU - Doc .2% NYY/NYM - Daryl 11% NYY/200H - That Guy with the STDs 62% HOU/PHL - Roy Oswalt 22% PHL/NYM - Jeurys 3% PHL/200H - Chuck Klein .7%
Don't forget they have a very special 2nd grid coming out at 11:30 AM EDT today, as per the crawl I saw at the top of the page. Another opportunity for me to demonstrate how little I know about the Junior Circuit OE: I didn't notice previously that BG also pointed out this second grid.
Another 7. I'll get my 9 someday (a day where there are no AL teams on there). CIN/ANA - TB/ANA - ANA/All Star - Reggie 1% CIN/BAL - Frank Robinson 24% BAL/TB - Edwin Jackson 6% BAL/All Star - Brooks Robinson 3% ATL/CIN - Deion 8% ATL/TB - Fred McGriff 12% ATL/All Star - Dale Murphy 3%
I got 7 today including a number of the same choices at BG (Ortiz, Viola, Perry, and Clemens/Seaver, though I had them in the reverse spots from where BG had them), as well as Bill Buckner for CHC/BOS and Greg Maddux as the Cy Cub
Just watched the condensed game. Impressive clutch hitting in the 10th there to salt this away. Good remedy for the stupid ghost runner is to put up a four spot in the top of the inning. Then a two run dinger won't end things for you.
We've been watching D-Reyes get knocked around in Syracuse for weeks since his demotion. Peace out tomato can. In other related news, Fwife had to interact with Trevor Gott a number of times in the past, as he had a child enrolled in my wife's day care center when he was pitching here in Syracuse as a minor leaguer in the Nationals system. His baby mama was quite nice and their daughter as well, but in every interaction with him my wife stated that he was a smarmy, entitled asshole. She was not pleased to hear about this trade.
Spent all day thinking this was a 7:10 PM EDT start and turned on the TV at that time to find I had missed the whole game. Just watched the condensed 9 min version on the official Mets site just now (I do love this as my catch up method when I miss the game). What a blast by Francisco Alvarez, wow.
Got 8 today. Never did think of a STL/CIN connection on my own but needed two guesses to get the A's 200 hit guy (apparently Rickey Henderson never even exceeded 180 hits in any season of his career). Immaculate Grid 91 8/9: 🟩🟩🟩 ⬜️🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 STL/BAL - Todd Zeile 1% BAL/CWS - Albert Belle 13% BAL/200H - Cal Ripken Jr. 90% CIN/STL CIN/CWS - Ken Griffey Jr 32% CIN/200H - Pete Rose 90% STL/OAK - Mark McGwire 51% OAK/CWS - Frank Thomas 17% OAK/200H - Napoleon LaJoie 3%
