  1. Some sloppy 9th inning defense, we'll give em a pass. They've been out there freezing their asses off all night.
  2. I'm driving down to Cit Field tomorrow, maybe I'll stop in Binghamton to take my shirt off and yell at a bunch of guys.
  3. Wow, that's 62.5 million per giant weird nostril. Seems steep.

  5. There's a good chance that we roam to other less windful parts of the park tomorrow for portions of the game. Thanks all for the tips. And we do have AAA ball here, but generally speaking we (the Fman family, but also the Cuse population in general) don't spend much time there in April. Because it's Syracuse in April and all.

They're calling for 25-30 MPH winds tomorrow during the game. I can handle it but Fboy may not be able to do 9 innings in a gale, even in winter attire up there. Dress like you're going to Syracuse. I wish it was that easy. We have a big dome up here, you see, so that just means dressing warm for the walk from the parking garage to the game.

As long as I'm around, the "walking around with your pants down low and your goods showing" will have a home. But not for fashion. I do it the right way, for obscenity. I'm old school.

  9. One of the Mets bloggers whose RSS feed I get (which one escapes me) is calling Ike Davis "The Stimulus." I love it.
  10. batmagadanleadoff wrote: Well, I'm not nearly the only one who thinks this .... The Mets said the rotunda was intended to honor Robinson's contributions as a civil-rights pioneer, an important figure in New York's social history and a symbol of American diversity. "Yeah," said former Mets catcher Mike Piazza, when asked about the team's decision, "but he didn't play for the team." I said it the first time I saw it and I stand by my opinion.
  11. Fuck him in his old apologist New York Times puzzle monocle wearing opera ingesting ass.
  12. I swear, I was just about to make the exact same joke I made two posts ago back in March. Fwife is right, I really only know about 10 funny things and I just beat them to death! Fuck. I'll watch George Lopez this week and I'll have some all new material for everyone.
  13. Rainouts suck arse.
  14. Broxton is rotund in the caboosal region. I think your closer should have a little extra meat in his seat, it's a good look in those baggy baseball pants and all. LGM indeed.
  15. Understated elegance is code for "stiff." I am the embodiment of overstated idiocy. Way funner.

  17. Pelfrey 3.5 Castillo 1 Reyes 1 Bay 1 Francoeur .5
  18. Still coming down in sheets.
  19. ESPN had me till they switched to NBA highlights. Now I'm on MLB Network... watching recaps of Joba getting bitchslapped in Los Angeles is ALWAYS good viewing.
  20. ESPN just showed some footage of the lights at Citi Field and it's still coming down in sheets.
